                        Ricky Pointing was upset for not getting proper practices  facilities ,but  his luck help forget the suitution and help him to win the toss in the most important third ODI between India and OZ . the OZ captain selected to bat first on a dump Delhi wicket which  was not a batsmen paradise like in Nagpur , replacing Shawn Marsh with debutant Moises Henrequies along with in the absence of wicket keeper Tim Paine ,Pointing himself came as a opener ,that to he come to open for the second time in 330 ODI matches carrier. the OZ got a good steady start but pitch was much slower as result the indian spinners did not waste any  oppurtunity and gave the first break through for India with the wicket of Shane Watson , after the first wicket the spinners did not waste any time to get two more wickets ,Pointing was out on 59 LBW for the second time by Ravindra Jadeja, due to slowness of the wicket the Indian spiners made it difficult for the OZes to make runs and to create partnerships, it was Mike Hussy 81 runs knock  ,the ozes manged to score 229 in 50 overs 
                       It was difficult to chase targets on the Delhi wickets due to unevenn boucne and slowness of the pitch. Virender Sehwag and Sachin like always  came to open the innings , this time it was sachin who was looking more promosing to score a big one ,he showed his intentions by hitting 12 runs in the first over but Sehwag who was in good form in the nagpur match was cleaned up by Mitchell Johnson  for just 11 runs and Sachin and Gautam too soon got out .The score was 53/3 and it was captain and vice captain who took India for win .Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni had a 148 runs partnership  ,Yuvraj got out on 76, ensuring India a win , in his 76 runs innings he displayed 8 fours and 2 sixes with great timing ,power . The Kangaroos found itself helpless as both the Indian players played thier innings very smartly , not taking risk aginst bowlers like Johnson and spiner Huaritz . They were succesful in doing " chance pe dance" scoring the runs against the loos bowls and playing the shots on the basis of merits.
                     Though India won the match by six wickets and a over left , it surely bossted the confidence of the Indian team and diminish the confidence of the OZes
