ISU redbirds won tonight 72-51.    Osiris Eldridge scored a game-high 21 points    This is their 9th straight win and they are now 6-0 in the MVC and 14-3 overall.   Drake also won on a last second basket against Bradley to also reach 6-0 in MVC and 15-1 overall (14 wins in a row). 

ISU got 7 votes for the AP Poll..   and with a game against #26 Drake on Saturday, it seems possible that the winner of that game could break into the top 25 !      The matchup between Drake and ISU will be the first time in Missouri Valley Conference history that 2 teams with a conference record of 6-0 or better will face each other.

The women continue their quest for the regular season title on saturday.
