What is Quick Fantasy?

Quick Fantasy is a head-to-head fantasy sports game (NFL & NBA) built for the top fantasy players in the world. You play just like "normal" fantasy but the games are much shorter -- either 1 day or 1 week. Win cash, Q Bucks (FanIQ currency), and bragging rights from your friends.

Is It Legal to Play for Cash?

Yes, fantasy sports is a game of skill and received a specific exemption from the 2006 Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. However, (i) non-U.S. residents, and (ii) residents of Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, and Vermont are not eligible to play for cash prizes (but you can play for Q Bucks).

Step 1: Pick Which Challenge To Play

• Pick a Game: You can select from NFL & NBA fantasy games. Choose whether you want to play a daily or weekly fantasy game.
• Choose Your Prize: Decide what prize you want to play for in your fantasy game. You have the choice of competing for cash prizes ($US) or Q Bucks (FanIQ's currency).
• Find an Opponent: Invite a friend to challenge in your head-to-head fantasy game by sending an email or posting your challenge on Facebook. Or, join an open game against another FanIQ user.

Step 2: Draft Your Team

• Pick Your Players: Pick your "starters" at each position and then select your top "alternates."
• Rank Your Players: After you select your starters, rank them in priority order. If you and your opponent select the same player at a position, then whoever ranked him higher gets him (the other person gets their alternate). The first draft choice is determined by a virtual coin toss.

Rules

Quick Fantasy Eligibility

Playing for Cash Prizes: You are eligible to play Quick Fantasy for cash prizes if you (a) have a FanIQ account, and (b) are at least 18 years old. However, (i) non-U.S. residents, and (ii) residents of Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, and Vermont are not eligible to play for cash prizes (but you can play for Q Bucks).

Playing for Q Bucks: You are eligible to play Quick Fantasy for Q Bucks if you have a valid FanIQ account.

Selecting an Opponent

Quick Fantasy allows you to invite your friends to play against you (via email & Facebook). You may send a fantasy game invite to as many friends as you wish, but only the first to accept the invite will be able to play against you in that game. However, you are free to play an unlimited number of head-to-head games against your friends every day so be sure to invite lots of friends. Create as many games as you want and play with an unlimited number of friends and FanIQ users. If you invite a friend but they do not pick their team and pay for the challenge in time, then you will automatically be matched up against another FanIQ user one (1) hour before the beginning of the first game for that challenge. We know that you'll love playing Quick Fantasy so we want to make sure everyone has a chance to play. If you are matched up against another FanIQ user, the entry fee of your new challenge will be equal to or less than the entry fee you originally selected to play for (it will never be for more than you originally wanted to play for).

Quick Fantasy also gives you the option of joining an open fantasy game against another FanIQ user. The open games are just as much fun and give you a great chance to meet other FanIQ users.

Drafting Rules

Selecting Your Players: You and your opponent select starters and alternates for all positions in that game. The only rule is that you may not choose more than six (6) players from a single NFL or NBA game. You and your opponent have until 30 minutes before the first game starts to change your player selections and rankings. The draft is automated and runs 29 minutes before the start of the first game. The first pick is determined by a virtual coin toss.

Ranking Your Players: The automated draft proceeds in a "snake-like" manner (Player 1 gets 1st pick, Player 2 gets 2nd & 3rd picks, Player 1 gets 4th & 5th picks, and so on) based on how you priority ranked your starters. The ranking system is very strategic so be sure to rank your most desired players high in the order. If a starter you selected is taken earlier in the draft by your opponent, you will automatically receive your top alternate at that position (and it won't cost you a draft pick to get your alternate).

Your draft results will be sent to you before the first game begins.

Accessing Your Challenges

All of your current and past challenges can be found by clicking on the "Current Challenges" link on the left navigation bar. From this page you will be able to access the Player Selection, Draft Results, and GameCenter pages.

Disputes & Scoring Discrepancies

From time to time, Quick Fantasy statistics and scoring may not exactly match the official statistics of your fantasy players. We will do our best to make immediate corrections for any errors. If you feel that a Quick Fantasy statistic or score calculation is not accurate, please email us at fantasyscoring@faniq.com. All scoring disputes must be made by 5:00pm Pacific time on the day immediately following the completion of the last game of the challenge.

If an error was made we will make every attempt to correct the issue in a timely manner. By agreeing to the FanIQ Terms of Use and these Rules, you agree to accept all Quick Fantasy statistics and scoring results as final and resolved after we have reviewed all issues raised.

Cancellation of Challenges

We reserve the right to cancel any Quick Fantasy challenges at our sole discretion. If we feel that the integrity of a challenge has been compromised in any way, we may choose to cancel the challenge. In such cases, we will return the entry fee, in full, to all participants.

Funding Your Account

Quick Fantasy challenge participants may play using cash ($US) or Q Bucks (FanIQ currency). To fund your cash balance you must do so through our system using PayPal. Participants can earn Q Bucks for free on FanIQ and can purchase additional Q Bucks through our system using a credit card, PayPal, or their mobile phone.

Winnings

For each Quick Fantasy challenge, winners will receive the following amounts:

Payouts

Unless an investigation or dispute is pending, all Quick Fantasy challenges will be finalized by 5:00pm Pacific time on the day immediately following the completion of the challenge. At this time, the appropriate funds will be deposited into the winning participant's account (funds may also be deposited prior to this time).

Withdrawals

Quick Fantasy challenge participants may withdraw from their cash balance account, subject to the following rules (Q Bucks cannot be withdrawn). To make a withdrawal from your cash account, please email us at fantasywithdrawals@faniq.com. Cash withdrawal requests can be made at any time. All cash payouts will be made by check to the name and confirmed address given in the PayPal deposit process. Checks will be sent, via first class mail, on the 1st and 15th days of every month. To be eligible for check disbursement on the 1st, requests must be received by the 15th of the preceding month. To be eligible for check disbursement on the 15th, requests must be received by the 1st of that month. For example for a cash withdrawal request made on January 10th, a check disbursement would be sent on February 1st. We reserve the right to delay processing cash withdrawal requests if an investigation into illicit or illegal activity is pending.

If a user makes a deposit to their account and chooses not to participate in any Quick Fantasy Challenges, we reserve the right to refund the full amount back to the user�s credit card or bank account (no cash payouts made via check).

FanIQ employees are only eligible to play Quick Fantasy for testing and optimization purposes. Under no circumstances are FanIQ employees eligible to play for cash or to make withdrawals on their own behalf.

Q Buck Farming & Scripting

You are only allowed to have one FanIQ account. You may not use multiple accounts to try and accumulate free Q Bucks ("Q Buck Farming"). We have state-of-the art systems in place to easily detect such behavior and it will result in the suspension of your account and potentially further legal action.
