Yeah, I was saying to my mom leaving the stadium "go for broke. Let's see if the Bucs can commit more errors than the Cubs can score runs." They surely gave it a shot.

Wow we went through this conversation mid season with you ... I remember now... oh well ... good thing you are not a Cubs fan ... you would have slit your wrist by now.
I also remember bringing up the fact that your Cubs have at least had winning seasons and been in the playoffs since 1992. So no I would not have slit my wrists by now if I were a Cubs fan. I have said all year "all I want for Christmas is a Pirates winning season." 10 more games to win at this point seems like a huge hill to climb. :(

That's not true. You said "if you can't acknowledge the Cubs are playing a good game, than I can't give you the credit I thought." You also said "not all because they are playing their worst game." Umm, yes it is. I don't think you actually understand that I'm ridiculing my own team which they rightfully deserve tonight, much more so than the Cubs winning in my opinion. 19 consecutive years of losing has me more pessimistic than you can imagine when it comes to the Pirates. I am seeing a total collapse that started the night they blew a 7-1 lead to the Padres a few weeks ago on a Friday night here. Since then, they've beat the Cardinals, and 2 against the Astros. They haven't won a road game since the 19 inning game in St. Louis. It's all falling apart, and I'm not trying to be ignorant with you, I'm merely telling you that I'm the one throwing my own team under the bus. I don't see why you're so upset about that.

Once more, when a team makes SEVEN ERRORS in one game, I don't see how it's possible you can actually give credit to the team winning, but I guess I HAVE to give credit to your Cubs...sorry, it doesn't work like that. You're darn right I was, and a lot of it early was directed at Marte. I can be critical of my own team when they deserve it too, and tonight they certainly did. He looked lost out there, like he wasn't prepared to make his return or something.

7 errors, didn't you hear that? I did give the Cubs credit for robbing McCutchen who should've had a home run and 4 RBIs at this point. But if you really believe the Cubs have played so well that these 12 runs are all because the Cubs are playing a good game, you're slightly delusional. I know this, last time the Cubs did this to the Bucs they got embarrassed like they should the next 2 games. I guess this is your ONE win for the week, so enjoy it while you can.
Uh ... maybe I will change my mind on the rubbing it in thingy.
