Well, the ticket office had it at 55% LSU, 45% Alabama, that is hardly an advantage. Besides, it is not the city or anything else, only Death Valley where LSU rarely loses. As for as a clear picture here, when I look at the record, it says LSU Won 1 Loss 1 with the win on the opponent;s yard and the loss on a neutral yard. And Alabama's says Won 1, Loss 1, with the loss on their own yard and a win on a neutral yard, no more, no less, it is split equally with advantage to the team who won in the other team's yard and not having a game in the other team's yard at all...Advantage LSU.. Playing Alabama would be welcomed and would clear it up for sure, no doubts..Until then, it is a draw. Just so you will know, I think either team could win and I don't feel any better about the game on Nov.3.2012. But this year it will be fair..If you don't win your conference, you are out..Slight advantage to LSU because the game is in Death Valley..Looking at both team's schedule for this year, Alabama seems to have the toughest SOS, which is unusual, because Bama's schedule is almost always the weakest, as it was in 2011, without question, a poor resume..I am an Alabama fan when they are not playing LSU and I certainly hope Bama can beat Michigan, Missouri and Texas A&M, as well as Arkie and Auburn. But I think that neither LSU or Bama will be unbeaten going into the post season.Anyway, I appreciate your friendship and competition and it has been enjoyable going back and forth with you. Congrats on the BCS NC game win. Let's keep it in the SEC another dozen years or so!!

Well Falcon if you believe that tha Tide had ANY right to play in the Championship game when they did NOT win their DIVISON or their CONFERENCE championshiips, then so be it. lol

Hey Cat, you don't really believe that do you? The Superdome a neutral site for LSU? That is like Alabama playing an away game in Birmingham. I think the last game pretty much solved it, 21-0. I don't think any of the players or any other fans other than you, my Buddy, want anything else to do with the Tide this year. You are a great LSU fan. Accept it and let it rest until next year. We got you this year, better luck next year. After the first game I could say that we beat ourselves because of the missed field goals. We make the field goals in the first game we sweep you this year. The second game victory was so convincing I am not sure what makes you think that you can win a rubber game. I actually would love a 3rd game, in LSU's yard, just to see who is the real #1, we don't have a conclusion now. LSU won in Bama;s yard, Bama won on a neutral yard, now LSU deserves the same respect Alabama got, a game in Death Valley, best 2 out of 3. That would solve it..

I didn't say it was a poor offense. I simply responded to the comment that said LSU had the best offense in college ball this season. No, they were not.. They were ranked 70th overall..

LSU averaged like 37 points per game so that is not a poor offense....

Bama's kicker missed 4 field goals in the first match up ... not just 2..

Do you think it was really a neutral site..lol ? Bama got 35% of the tickets ..??? The BCS tries to get the best two teams in the nation , not the best tv deal or the closest thing they can get to basketball teams.... It just so happens that the best two teams were in the same conference and the same division this year...Oregon one of the best offenses in the country played LSU and got it handed to them... what would make you think that OK. St. whose defense was even worse than Oregon's would have been the team that should be playing ... Bama should have won the first match-up just like Stanford should have beaten OK St. , they simply played for a field goal to win with a good kicker and he missed....but the loss to Iowa was just tooooo bad to overlook...

I agree Scott. Bama winning last night really mucked it all up..We have no #1 now since they have split a 2 game series..LSU wins in Bama's yard and Bama wins in a neutral yard. Game # 3 should be played in Death Valley to make it all fair to both teams.

Not much left to say. It was all said last night..Les Miles will have to answer why he did not prepare his team for this game.. And who the hell paid Jordan Jefferson to throw that game. It was too obvious.. My grandkids could have done better. Now all I am hearing is 2 out of 3, the next game on LSU's home field.. Hell, they don't deserve it..Let's move on.

Hey Buddy. How are you? Well like I said it at the top of the show. Bama defense prove it again. They totally dominate the game start to finish. LSU offense didn't cross the 50 yard line until the 4th quarter.

Oklahoma State is the best team. Most SEC teams did not have good offensives, and a majority of the quarterbacks in the conference were not very good. Even in the non-conference part of the scedule, Alabama played a Penn State team that could never figure out who their starting quarterback should be.

I believe that could happen very easily and still stick the sponsors on the respective bowl games. Small playoff system in order and you keep all those millions. Win-Win

I am still puzzled as to how the best team in the nation wasn't even the best team in their conference? Anyone else see what I'm saying? Opportunity was passed over other potential schools. All in the name of $$$$ I guess?

You missed the sarcasm in my first sentence. My second and third, however, were no joke.

Winning 9-6 while allowing more yards off offense and having the opposing team's kicker miss 2 field goals is hardly a convincing win. Bama completely shut down the Tigers, allowing 92 total yards. That is both a convincing and dominating win.

Just as convincing as LSU's defeat earlier this year. I am convinced Ok State deserved to be in the title game. Ratings committee wouldn't allow it.

Stomped the second one! Only got past the 50 one time. I dont think LSU is going down in history as one of the greatest, but they did make history by being the only team in BCS history to get skunked.
