Wow, very good point. Perfectly said. The Giants peaked at the right time. Going 15-1 makes little difference if you lose in the playoffs. Last year the Packers fought through adversity, injuries, and overcame them. A wild card team that was never expected to win, peaked and kicked butt when they needed to, just as the Giants are doing now. Just like Green Bay last year they weren't expected to even get to the playoffs, let alone get to the Super Bowl. Kudos for a good analysis.

I believe in my team and it pay of we are going to the big dance. Go GIANTS. We are going all the way it our year.

I think the Giants just beat another 'better' team today. The Giants are playing well and peaking at the right time, just like the Packers did last year. There were also complaints last year that the 'better' team did not advance. But look who is in the Super Bowl.

One play Eli made which I thought was even smarter than Troy Aikman gave him credit for: Giants were up 20-13, 3rd and 5 at GB's 12 with about 8:30 to go in the fourth when Eli takes a sack. The cameras showed no one was open and Aikman gave him a hat tip for not taking a chance on an interception when they needed to make it a 2-possession game. I don't know if this went through Eli's head as well, but, first, he took the sack right in between the hashmarks, leaving Tynes nicely set up for the FG try. Second, by not throwing the ball away in the face of the pressure he kept the clock running, which of course is what you want to do in that situation. That was not pointed out by Aikman or Buck but that was just another reason why that was such a smart play by Eli.

Mike McCarthy owns this loss and was clearly outcoached by Tom Coughlin. McCarthy needed to realize the need of this team to keep its' timing together and played the starters into the first series of the third quarter of the final regular season game. The bye week needed to be treated as a regular game week with a full 60 minute scrimmage for the bye Sunday with full game conditions, referees and practice squad. Then the week before the game would have been normal with the returning injured working into an already in tune team.

Mike and Ted Thompson need to go back to the basics and not only keep Donald Driver, but rebuild him into the offensive scheme by sending Finley on a short cross route incase Rodgers needs a quick out with Jennings taking the deep sideline route for a possible pass to land 5 to 7 yards inside the sidelines and Driver taking a mid crossing route. Recognize his catching ability shown in that amazing touchdown lazer catch by reinstituting the quick flare pass where Rodgers stands right up and hits driver on the slant. The pass to the end at the line of scrimmage play needs to be pulled from the playbook as the speeds of the defenses today don't allow that to succeed.

Mike, Ted and Mark Murphy, you need to cut ties with Dom Capers. Anyone whose charges include Clay Mathews, B.J. Raji and Woodson and still produced the 32nd ranked defense should not even hope to keep his job. Yes, the loss of Collins was a shocker and Ted-your youth move to replace him failed big time. If Collins can return, you need to draft his understudy first-if Collins can't return, as much as it pains you, look to free agency to try to replace him, or do the best that you can. You need to get your center signed now to at least a three year deal to maintain stability for Rodgers and draft for the future-wish we could get Konz!!!

The loss still saddens me and realize that the next schedule will be tougher thanks to winning the division, but that will try this team and toughen them for next year's playoff run. The North promises to be a weak division so we should win it without real challenge but we will need to have some puzzle pieces come together to go further into the tournament.
