Kings are world champs, there is a parade in L.A. this year after all. I am so happy for Kings announcer Bob Miller who has broadcasted Kings hockey for 39 years. He finally gets a ring to join the other L.A. long time broadcasters who have rings in their respective sports. The late Chick Hearns for the Lakers who broadcasted Lakers games for 40 plus years. Chick has11 rings, and of coarse the legendary Vin Scully who has broadcasted Dodger baseball for over 60 years. Vin has 6 rings.

Yes, the previous low seed to win a cup was a 6 seed, which ironically was the New Jersey Devils 1994-95 team. Even more irony, the Devils were a 6 seed again this year.

Good question...I think the Oilers went to the final finishing 8th but they lost in game 7.
