The Lakers are lacking in depth as far as the reserves are concern to help take some of the pressure off Kobe and losing Gasol and Howard is hurting them tonight... If Kobe have to take over 20 shots a night and he's having a poor shooting night and the so-called laker supporting cast can't help offensively, then this season will be a long season for the Purple and Gold... Most of the players on this years' lakers' roster are AWFUL Minus Dwight, Pau, Metta or Minus Kobe and Nash...
Yup, that's why they look so burnt out in the fourth quarter. Should let the young boys execute the run and gun or play more half court to conserve energy

defense would be nice if any one in the nba know how to, hell bring back the 80"s of no drive to the hoop without being planted. now they just let them have a free path to the rim. if we could play some d we could win a title for sure
You know I saw the old boys in Boston play some stellar D against KYK. The Lakers are usually too burnt out by the run and gun offense to offer any 4th quarter resistance

Being a Laker backer since 1976, it's disappointing to see what is going on in La La Land, but it is what it is, you have to be able to too take the good with the bad, and it will only get worst for the Lakers. I can only imagine Mike Brown is sitting somewhere collecting his checks from the Lakers and giggling his ass off
Mike Brown could not have been this bad....granted his system restricted the natural ability off all players not named Kobe, Lakers are going to need a system like the triangle or Princeton offense to get them a good shot against good defensive teams. That was their demise against OKC. The problem is that they tried to run in all the time..

Exactly. No Pau Gasol, No Dwight Howard, what more can the spurs ask for?
