I understand keeping your opponent pinned behind the baseline and when they try to return they hit the ball out. I think this where more finesse plays a big roll.

I think Maria and Serena has the same drive they both drive me crazy because they don't wanna bend to finesse everybody has learned to hit the ball hard. Now it takes finesse.

Maria's game is quite inconsistent. She appears to be very strong and solid one moment but suddenly her form dips. This could be her undoing
