I thought it would be a higher scoring game. But....you can't win games if you don't catch the ball, line up wrong, and have 12 men on the field. People think it was because Ponder wasn't there, but I think it was more than just that. I'm in Atlanta, so I don't see many games either.
Me too. Totally agree with ya. I think it was more than just Ponder not being able to play too. 1 player don't win or lose, it's a team win/loss. Oh, being in Atlanta, you most likely see the same games we do here in Mississippi. :) We visited Atlanta about 10 yrs ago...came over to watch the Braves play. Had a blast!! :D

Yes girl. I really thought this would be a really close game. Figured a field goal on either team would win it. Vikings just aren't playing well...possibly because Webb instead of Ponder? IDK...don't get to see the Vikings play much here on free tv. :(

well...I really thought the Vikes would be playing better, but it really doesn't look like it. Not only are Webb's passing skills not there, but the defense is giving Rodgers waaaaay too much time to pass the ball.

I love my Vikings, and I realize there is still a LOT of game left, but..........

The news that Ponder will not start for the Vikes may be a blessing in disguise, you know darn well the Pack defense did not prepare to see Joe Webb. He is much more athletic than Ponder and is harder to tackle. If the Vikes have some plays that is similiar to the wildcat or some pistol type plays it will definitely give the Packers problems, but again the Vikes defense is gonna have to win this game
I thought the same thing about Webb being a blessing in disguise, as well Gene! Everyone thinks...oh...he's not a starter...we got them beat. BUT..he is a great QB. Don't get cocky about the Pack winning.....just sayin'! :)

Not seeing how someone play is a little scary though because one don't know what he can really do!!! But we all know what Rodgers can do and that is all what counts tonight in this game...... A WIN BY THE PACKERS!!!!!
respect
This is going to very interesting because Ponder is not playing tonight and this person I never heard of by the name Webb is starting!!!! Oh well.......it really doesn't matters who is starting because this game still belongs to the Packers!!!!

Interesting to note that all of the Vikings' victories this year occurred in an indoor venue, and all of their defeats where when the game was played outdoors. The Pack hopes to continue this trend. Go Pack Go!
It is interesting Bob, but throw all of that out of the window. It's a new season

I see a lot of hope, confidence, and arrogance coming from the Pack faithful. There is no script in sports that says we will win this time, because they beat us last time and we are playing at home and in the type of weather that we like. Bottom line is that you still have to play the game, the great thing about sports is that the unpredictable can happen. Neither team will roll over and play dead, it's money time now, it's a new season and the teams are 0-0. I looking forward to a good game, the Packers I believe will tackle better in this one, since they have been talked about all week long about their poor tackling skills all year long. Vikings have to do something totally different to confuse the Packers. Green Bay is very beatable, if they get the win this week, they will still have the same Problems going into Frisco next week. It's about winning a world championship and both teams have to win 4 games in a row to accomplish that

AP is still 9 yards away setting a record today, but the Vikings are done at the end of the game! PACKERS BABY!
That record was only for the record season, his yards in the playoffs won't count for that
