I have no personal experience with troop ships. Any time I went anywhere for Uncle Sam, we went by plane or chopper...........of course, we also had to jump from them to get where we were going...hahaha

What were troop ships built for?

I was never on a boat....ever. we went in by plane or chopper but after we got out of our foxholes, we did fraternize with the locals which was much better than looking at it from a dock

Most of them on your belly in the gravel or the bottom of a foxhole. Remember we take them there, dump them and after bring them back.

I liked being a soldier and I got to actually see many more places than the navy dudes.

All I can remember were the years I attended West Point, 1992 to 1996, Army was 4-0 in those years

One of my favorite games of the year. College football did it right by making this the only game played on the last day of the regular season
