It's definitely going to be an interesting season. I personally have enjoyed seeing the advancement of the Detroit program. Like I was telling another forum member though, Vince Lombardi said: "Winning is a habit, but so too is losing". If the Lions are to get over the barrier of their own history, it is going to be the greatest challenge of the long-standing players, coaches, media, and fans to overcome. Personally, I hope it is a hurdle they can clear.

Now the old man gets to rest up throughout the bye and work on his timing with his WR's. That MNF battle vs. the Jets should be a real slobberknocker!

We're at Green Bay next week. I "wish" we could bypass that game and go home to play Rams. LOL

Agreed....

OH MY ... Kjartan I need to borrow your defib...
Detroit Lions 9/26/10

Hansen missing that 44 yard field goal early in the game really made a difference. Instead of going for it on 4th down, the Lions could have kicked a field goal and been within only a touchdown and 2 point conversion. Considering the Lions held the Vikes and now have the ball--this scenario could be very, very different right now.

Going to be tough to get to 8 wins....

wrote: Well, regardless. 1). There's still another quarter of play. If the coach can re-focus his team, the Lions have shown the capability of moving the ball and scoring on the Vikes--the game is NOT over (this is something I always remember attributed to the championship game against the Falcons in '98;
2) I do believe everything I've shared regarding my view of the Lions. They should be 2-0 right now. That rule 'technicality' that made that TD catch 'incomplete' was complete and utter bullspit. 0-2 isn't encouraging--0-3 even less so if that's what occurs. However, I believe the Lions to be a dangerous team.
Well said, sir, but OOR.
