Wow! What an upset! That gives me even more hope for the Browns against the Steelers this week!

I agree, although, I did NOT expect the Lions to blow out the Rams. Being in Detroit and just plain frustration displayed itself in this game from the Lions. I didn't watch the game, so, all I can do is look at the score, stats, and TV highlights. The Rams don't have horrible stats, So I'm sure the turnovers did some damage as well.
I only saw the 1st half... it was such a beautiful fall day and since the Lions appeared to be in good shape, I spent the rest of the day outside. At this time of year in Michigan, I need to soak up as much nice weather as I can before it all turns to crap! I was glad that the Lions built a big enough lead where I felt it was safe enough to turn off the TV and get outside!

44-6??? Did the Lions really do that to the Rams???
Detroit has a pretty tough schedule and although I wouldn't expect any more scores like this, they should continue to show improvement the rest of this season. Anyone would be crazy to suggest playoffs, but the Lions should win more than just a couple of games this year and for any Lions fan, 5-6 wins this year would be pretty huge!
The Lions are showing progress and that is what is most encouraging!

OK, I want video coverage of this beach-bourne "happy dance"!
Congrats to the Lions. People have probably thought I've been full of poo for what I've been saying or that I was just trying to be "nice", but I see some great things from the team and it's going to mean two more restless nights before games every season if they continue. Again, congrats...

I don't think anyone is a Lions Homer today. We are TRUE hopeful fans. We just want that FIRST WIN! And it feels good. Congrats Lions fans. Good luck next week Rams fans. You've already proven yourselves with two wins.

just throwing this out
your bragging like the Lions are contender in the NFC North. The team has qualified for the playoffs only nine times in the more than 50 years since winning the 1957 championship. Of course this team will once again be a contender, just not this year.
There is a big difference in rooting for a team and being a homer.
Sorry Susan, again congrats to your Lions!
