Yup!!!

Wasn't real thrilled with the ol' Spartans at the end of that one. If Stanton sits on that ball, I doubt the Jets would have had enough time to come all the way down the field and Julian... WTF! I am all for being aggressive, but what a horrible time for a 15-yard penalty. If that late hit doesn't happen, the J-E-T-S would have been spelling L-O-S-S!!!

Still, a lot of the blame on that one has to go to Coach Schwartz who needs to go back and take Coaching 101 all over again.

The Lions are starting to look like a real football team - sucks that Stafford got hurt again. The Lions finally seem to have a really good QB, but they can't keep him on the field... Ugh!

That said, I am still glad they drafted Stafford over Sanchez. The Lions need to do whatever is necessary to get Stafford healed properly. Although they say this is a new injury, I kind of find that hard to believe.

Go Lions!!!

I do recall that but you can't say Sanchez had no impact on what they did last year. You're just so blind with hate for Sanchez for some reason that you can't give him any credit at all.

I didn't compare Stafford to anyone but Sanchez and said Stafford was way better than Sanchez. That's it. I don't like comparing my favorite players with top 5 players when they are so young, he has a long way to go before he can be considered one of the best. It is simply a very hard position to play and be the best at. I just know the Lions have been doing very well with their picks the past couple of years and I am very happy with Stafford sans injuries.

They were the ones that made the big plays. Not to mention Detroits OC, he was the hero for NY really, he couldn't put his offense in a position to hold onto the lead. And btw, Stanton would do just as well as Sanchez in that offense. Jets O-line really played very well.

Oh by the way have the Lions rescued Calvin Johnson from Revis Island yet? At least he's got plenty of company there so he shouldn't feel as bad.

He led a 13 point comeback in the final 5 minutes of the game thats impressive. The penalty was one play dude. Sanchez made a lot of plays in that comeback while Stafford was nursing his fragile little shoulder. Jets win Lions lose thats all that matters.

That being said you're not always going to play your best game and the Jets certainly didn't today but they found a way to win which is what elite teams do. Thats how it is in sports and the Jets stayed tough and made plays when the absolutely needed to. Last year they would have lost this game. I don't know if you remember but the Jets went on a terrible stretch losing to last place teams similar to the Lions last year but they ended up in the playoffs (yes things fell their way in a big way). What did they do in the playoffs? Oh yeah they won two games on the road, one in San Diego and played in the AFC championship game. If last years team did that after losing games similar to today, I'm curious as to what they are capable of this year. I can't believe you won't give Sanchez any credit man. He was the main reason for that comeback. Eat your words and admit Sanchez played well.
