Mia, you were wrong last week. Now I see that you are picking the Eagles to win over the Redskins. It is nice to see that you are finally wising up.
I'm still true blue. I just know it is what it is. May the best team win my Eagle fan friend ;)

Yes, the Eagles may give us a run for the money. It will be a great game no doubt but the fact is this, the Colts will win and leave the Eagles feeling like they just couldve done something different to win. Fly back to your nests to recoup!!

Red, the game last night proves my point. Injuries had nothing to do with the outcome of the game. Mr. Best reading QB ever, threw an interception at the end of the game to give the game to Philly. I guess he could not read the CB that time. That is a Great QB's dream to have the ball at the end of the game with an opportunity to drive the team down the field to win. Far too often Peyton has come up short in these situations(Big Games) for MY taste for a GREAT QB. Given the same situation with the game on the line, give me Brady or Montana over Peyton Manning. That is MY opinion!!!!!!!!! Great conversation!!!!!!! By the way, Marino never had a defense after that first Superbowl visit. I never said he was not a great QB.
My hat's off to you Red, you are really bringing the passion. Injuries are a part of the game. What does Peyton do if he gets to the Super Bowl and half his players are injured? The best that you can hope for in a game, especially where you have injuries, is that you put yourself in a position to win the game at the end. Peyton probably reads defenses better than any active quarterback today, I grant you that. But he does not have that killer instinct, like Brady and Montana. Rings do matter to true champions!!!!!

Every team has injuries...the Eagles starting center and starting fullback are out for the season. I am sure that the oiffensive line would be playing a lot better with Jamal Jackson in the middle, heck, they would have played a lot better if Max Jean-Gilles hadn't gotten hurt during this game...Nick Cole should only play if every other option has been exhausted...he stinks...couldn't block ME!

lolol....the real boss? does vick makeis own calls? read the defense like peyton? no...peyton is basically the off cord and the qb......vick is a goof qb,and had alot of help,,,,,peyton can only read the defense and execute the playes,,his 2nd and 3rd stringers just dont know the atterns..that was thedifference..we lost by 2 with our 2nd and 3rd string..what do you think would have happened if we had our first string?

yes peyton as good as he is can not play thewhole game alone..there is no I in team..that doesnt take away the fact that he still reads a defense bbetter than anyone in the game.......had we not been plagued with injuries, i guarante there is no way you would have won..it was close as it was with 1/2 our team out

if peyton had his first string players out that knew his plays like the back of their hands and didnt have 1/2 their team out with injuries the game wouldnt have been anywhere this close......injuries had EVERYTHINg to do with the outcome..a sencond and 3rd string team against a first string team is and was the difference..had we been healthymmmwe would have blown you out.... far too ofte payton has come up short?? you might want to look up last 2 minute stats and see who has the best........then get bak to me.....(peytonhas the best 2 min stats, then brady then eli........,,,,go look them up.......no you didnt say marino wasnt a great qb,,but you said a great qb has more rings etc......and i said look at marino,,he is a great qb and doesnt have a ring......rings dont mak great qbs..sure they dont hurt,,,but we all know peyton is the best QB in the game.....when you have coaches saying that as well as players and fans then there is no doubt...remember peyton is the best reader in the league period..that doesnt mean he can make his players run a play as supposed to or keep mistakes from happening..dont confuse the 2....which is being a great defensive reader and qb..and having a team that isnt up t par...his defense is not strong in the secondary and the fron d is plagued with injuries......regardless no one reads defenses and adjusts like P man does....

that is like saying dan marino isnta great QB because he doesnt have a ring....that holds no water....Peyton is the best reading Qb ever.thatis not just me talking . that is every coach in the nfl talking..He calls 99% of his own plays.is basicall y the off cord.....tell me another qb that does that consistantly? there isnt one..Favre calls but not at a% rate that peyton does....It takes a team to win a superbowl, but consistantly peyton's numbers are the best in the league or in the top 3.....rings have nothing to do with capability with reading defense. Even the best QB can not wi, if he has !/2 his team out with injuries,,,but he can read and give the opposition a hard time winning,,,,

I am not sure if I agree with the best defensive reading QB in the NFL ever. How long has he been in the league and how many super bowl rings does he have? I am not impressed with multiple 4000 yard seasons, how are you at crunch time? Do not get me wrong, I am not saying that he is not great, but the best defensive reading QB ever in the NFL would have more than 1 Super Bowl ring in 12 seasons....

With an arm and mind lik epeyton he doesnt need to run..that is what receivers TE and Backs are for....COLTS!
Red, In addition to good receivers, TEs and Backs, he also needs a good O-Line which is something that Mike has basically never had.

Quick stats on Mike Vick this year: In 4 games Mike is 59 of 96 for 799 Yards with 6 TD passes and 0 interceptions. On the ground he has 26 attempts for 187 yards. He has a QB rating of 108.8. Running quarterbacks as well as pocket quarterbacks all get hurt, that's in the game. I'm sure if Peyton Manning's feet were a little quicker he would run more.
