well green bays record was a "losing record" if we are going by game wins, yes? both tampa bay and the gmen had more wins.....but i understan your point of view....nd feel thst no losing record team should be in the playoffs..it isnt fair to the rest of the league....

of course they can and should be held responsible.they are professionals..they have their own union and a committee..blowing a call as important a sa touchdown, let alone a game winning touchdown, as in the Minn/Vs GreenBay game,changes the dynamic of the playoffs...had that game been ruled with a loss for green bay,as it was....after the fact..then GMEN, TB would have made the playoffs...i agree, refs make alot of crummy calls and some great ones, however that is why they instated instant replays...it has helped alot...it DOESNt help when the ref admits nationally he blew the call and the hea dof the ref association agrees..i feel those are special circumstances and the ruling should be taken into consideration...with that said.. the gmen did blow it...they let a 21 point win get away..and couldnt come back.....they still had a better record than GB,just the same..and i support a system where the best records go....:)

Green bay doesnt deserve to be there!!! They're not as good as the G MEN are but then again when you cry you get your way and thats the way it is and always be!! Cry and cry and cry and you will get in the playoffs... As far as a team being there uh uh uh that definately needs to be changed

I'm not going to say anything because I will be rooting for the Seahawks! You have to play the cards you're dealt. The Chargers were .500 and better than their record showed. The Seahawks are not the same. That being said, the rule is what it is and I hope it pays off for Seattle.

What are you going to say when the Seahawks beat the Saints next week? It wasn't that long ago the Chargers made the playoffs at 8-8 and beat the Colts in the first round of the playoffs. The Cardinals made the Super Bowl at 9-7.

Green Bay played well enough to make the Playoffs, they deserve to be there. These rules are not new. Every team with a winning record can't make it, and that's just the way it is. Excuses just won't do. My issue is the teams that are going to make it with a losing record, that may need to be revisited, but that is all.

Giants didn't deserve the playoffs. They flat out blew it!!! Had multiple chances to sew it up. The refs can't be blamed for every game.

I can say that no game should be blamed on the refs. For every blown call, there is probably twice as many that didn't get executed. A truly good team would overcome and not leave it in the refs hands!!! Just my opinion, although refs may contribute to a loss, they can't be held responsible.

you prediction was right because GB got a win they didt deserve(minn/vs Gb first game).their record would have been good enough to be in with 10 wins..same as the eagles....and yes you are right they do have VERY nice homes in jersey...but their residences in other states are where many of them live off season..sounds like you have a bit of envy...

My point is that I predicted that the Giants would lose and be knocked out of the plaoffs. Well, I was wrong about the Giants losing but right about them watching the playoffs from their beautiful homes in New Jersey.
