LOL, yeah there is. Well, I had a guy just start yelling when I was a kid saygin how NY sucked and how I should just leave and go back to the nasty apple. All this because I was wearing a NY Mets hat. So since then I promise I would never cheer for a team from that city. I have nothing against the people or players from there. If the players aRE GOOD THEN THEY ARE GOOD.
That really sucks! Especially to a kid!

Awww, thats sad... A lot of Pitt/penn teams are pretty good, or at least have some great players... But then I am partial to Pittsburgh, being that is where I hail from...

I have never been a fan of the Pens, root for the Lighting and Islanders. Grew up in NY, so had to go with them. Any team from Pitt. I root against in all sports. I do not abhor them just not a fan.

Ran out of respects, but I do agree I believe they were fired up. Yeah I do not like the powder blue on them. Stay black and gold.

If I wasn't rooting for the Pens ... I used to have season tickets when they first opened the Ice Palace (before the rename) That should tell you something ... But I bleed black and gold first ... I think the Pens were really fired up after the Winter Classic loss.

Was Elvis ever even in the building?
He was until the first TV timeout, and it was already 4-0,.

The Pens hadn't had to go short handed until...the third period?? Jeez, this says something about the Lightning.
The Lightning would've had a PP in the 2nd period, but it ended up being 4-on-4 because they also tagged Steve Downie for a dive.

The Lightning avoid the shutout, but for the 2nd time this year they lose 8-1. Tomorrow the Pens travel to Montreal and will look to keep it going against a team who they've always had trouble with.

Lightning can't seem to make up their mind as to which goalie will let in fewer goals ;)

Despite the fact that I'm out of the Pittsburgh area, I still got Mike Lange'd 2x already. Thank you, Internets :)

4-on-4 after a hooking penalty called on Rupp, and...the penalty that's hardly ever called, Downie gets called for a dive.

Stamkos fall down go boom, lost the puck, the Lightning still have a goose egg.

It is amazing ... I just got my score center update and almost fell out of my desk chair. I can't wait to watch NHL on the Fly tonight. I really think that the Pens were so sucked in to the Winter Classic that it affected them in a bad way. Back to business and with Staal back in the lineup look out!!!

The goal from Geno was not a record for fastest into the game for the Pens, record is 6 seconds back in the '70s.
