Bet he won't be calling anyone else "Little Sisters of the Poor" ever again either... I will give him and Tressel much much credit for being psychics and seeing this coming when making their decision to request that their 5 players be allowed to play against Arkansas....w/out Pryor and the other 4, it's a definite lock for 0-6 in the BCS bowls.
Apparently the Sugar Bowl also lobbied to the NCAA for the suspended Buckeyes to play. This isnt about matchups and win/losses, it's all about the $$$$

WTG Frogs! A great game and a statement win! Congrats to both teams on a classy showing.

Congratulations to TCU on a great victory. They made plays at the right time to win the game. Best of luck to TCU as they join the Big East.

Congrats to TCU. A non BCS school wins a BCS Bowl, makes me wonder what they will do next year to screw the little guy?

Let's set the timeline, shall we. There was a certain MSU fan that was talking smack in the MSU/Alabama bar and after your beloved Bama squad demolished them, you immediately came over to this bar and made the following statement... Much like MSU, UM and PSU, Wisconsin is going to be exposed as overrated. Now, just like you would defend the SEC if somebody said something negative about the conference you cheer for, fans like me will defend the conference that I root for. The difference is that I am unbiased and acknowledge that the SEC is the premier conference in college football. I cant say the same for SEC fans, who only seem to think football is played in the southeast part of the country.
Who exactly would that be. Because there were a couple talking smack about Alabama. One of em probably being me.

Scott, if you noticed that all of my posts were directed at MichiganMarty and Bronco9 in that bar b/c both were talking out their arses the entire week. Did those other teams not get exposed as overrated by SEC teams? I didn't say the Big Ten was overrated here at all, said that those 4 teams are. If you want to infer from my statements that the Big Ten is overrated, that is your choice but don't put words in my mouth. With all of that said, I have no desire to argue with you, I think Wisc is a good team but I do not believe they are going to destroy TCU like everyone is saying, that's what I am inferring as to their overrated status. I completely agree that you should defend your conference and/or team, if I were attacking either. Yes I am a SEC die-hard, I am also an ACC/FSU die-hard as well as a CFB die-hard. DO I think that the Big Ten plays good football, yes. Do I think they play SEC football, nope, sorry if that bothers you. And I'm a TCU fan b/c I've got a buddy that graduated from TCU and I give him grief all the time..just wanted to get that out before you attack me for not being a true TCU fan as I am not. Anyway, best of luck to your team.
I'll agree with the SEC beign great and all but just to let ya know. I had a feeling Bama would win. It just amuzes me to talk smack about them since there not as big of a team as last year. cuz I hope you don't forget the losses to South Carolina, LSU, and AUBURN. I am glad that the win helped the SEC but Aubrn will beat Oregon and will make the SEC even better.

I completely agree with Scott's comments. Top to bottom the SEC is arguably the top conference in college football. I would like to think that the Big Ten would be more competitve today, but weaknesses of Michigan's game and mental errors by MSU early on were met by teams who played well and took advantage of their opportunities. Wisconsin has been 2-2 against SEC teams in Bowl games recently, with the 2 loses by a total of 7 points. Let's sit back and enjoy what is looking to be a shoot out at the Rose Bowl.
Sorry guys, didn't mean to offend you or Scott, or any others that were also offended. Just enjoy chatting CFB with everyone.

I apologize if you think I am trying to argue with you, that certainly isnt the case. My point is that just because a team loses to the SEC doesnt mean they are "over-rated". Michigan and Penn State were both 7-5 heading into their bowl games and to be brutally honest, had no business playing on New Year's Day. As for Michigan State, there is no denying that they were completely outclassed by the defending BCS champions. In fact, IMO, there isnt a team in college football that would've beat Alabama today. Had they played like that against SC, LSU and Auburn, they'd be playing in the national championship.

Wisconsin's passing game may not be sexy, but it is a good balance to their running game. Scott Tolzien has more of a game management quarterback style, completing almost 75% of his passes this year. He was also a finalist for the O'Brien award. I wouldn't analyze that as a lack of a passing attack.
Sorry RK, not trying to insult but your Wisc national stats puts Wisc passing attack at 79th against the Big Ten defenses and yes, I get that you are a running team first and foremost so I realize those stats are a little skewed...but that's what I was basing my comment on. He has a lot of yards and a great completion percentage and I am at a loss for why Wisc is 79th nationally. Anyway, Go Frogs.

Would like to see TCU pull this out. As my time of rooting for TCU is getting short, soon they will be dominating the Big East.
