I SAID IT WOULD BE DEFENSE THAT WOULD WIN THIS GAME. COLTS HAVE GOT TO GO OUT AND GET SOME HELP. MAYBE GET SOME BEEF UP FRONT. TO SMALL GET MOVED OUT SO EASY ON THE LINE. JETS DID WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE AND RAN IT RIGHT AT THE COLTS. OFFENSE SPUTTERED ALSO. NEED TO ADDRESS PROBLEMS STARTING NOW.

Well our wish is really for a Super Bowl, but a playoff win over Peyton Manning is a good start. Now it's on to New England!!

Your absolutely right Red..!! Peyton was picking on Cromartie all day and Gascon scored that TD on him. Ryan was livid and chewed him out big time right before the half and probably during half time. He definitely made up for it with that kick-off return. If the Colts would have had better coverage, I think they would have won the game.

I can't believe the Jets beat the Colts... " ANY GIVEN SUNDAY" LOL

Hell of game could have gone either colts fans expect more making the playoffs is no consolation prize, Mad props to the J-e-t-s for gutting out a tough win in hostile territory.

Nobody is denying that Peyton Manning isnt a great QB. However, he'll be the first to admit that this season he seemed to try to do too much and as a result, he made some throws that he shouldnt have. IMO, that is a direct result of having no type of running game. When your offense isnt balanced, it helps the defense game plan solely on the Colts passing game. Also, this year I noticed that Manning seemed to develop a case of "happy feet" while in the pocket. He got hit alot this season, even if they werent sacks, and as the season went along, Manning seemed to rush alot of throws for fear he'd get hit again. Any defense that can get to the quarterback, especially without blitzing, proved they could force Manning to make mistakes. If anything, this proves Manning is human. All quarterbacks go thru seasons like this but this shouldnt make anybody question whether he is a great QB

If anyone noticed on the last kick return the Jets had, there was a hold that wasn't caught by the refs. If it would have been called the Jets wouldn't have had that great of field position. Also what was up with that timeout that the Colts coach called? If not called the Jets wouldn't have had that much time to get into field goal position. Perhaps this will be a lessons learned next season and beyond. Congrats to the Jets on the win, they have a tough game coming up against the Pats.

So him forcing the ball is HIS FAULT, not the offensive line not the guy selling foam fingers and surely not the receivers unless they have some brain control that makes Peyton throw the ball. Peyton has lost a step, yes he may get it back, but his poor performance rest solely on his shoulders, please stop making excuses for him, it is what it is the numbers do not lie.

which would have been true...the main reason is they couldnt meet each other in the SB,,and that is what every fpootball playQB plays t bring their team to...the dance babe the dance

jaysinw wrote: Yeah I do not agree with you saying put them in different conferences. The Chargers do not play the Colts every year so when it would happen the teams would make money. Especially in the playoffs. We will see want Joe's kids do when they get here.

i would take all your respects back for that comment if i could.....you make excuss for peyton..but eli was in a worse situation with injuries,,he had them before the season even started and played with a different front line and receiving ore every week.....come on....Eli has a SB ring and have lost his whole receiving core after the SB..peyton has had the same receivers the last 4 years.......Eli started with first year starters and 2nd and 3rd years players beside 1st time starters.....yeah he had a crap year..but to say any QB with a winning record despite the diversities this year and last is ..is...is...well ill leave that up to your imagination..
