I don't think luck had anything to do with Seattle beating the Saints it looked to me like the Saints didn't show up. So you call it like you want but the facts are they lost because on that day they were not the better team.

Lying is not one of my traits, however I realize a lot of people try to fool themselves into believing anything they want to happen will. Well I believe because I see it that way so it will happen. I never get brokenhearted because there is always next year. Newness is what games are all about, no-one can make a prediction and see it come to pass but they can predict and hope it comes to pass. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I believe in the Hawks. I promise I won't fall apart should the unlikely happen, like the Seahawks lose.

Beating the Saints may have been something "nice", but when it's all said and done, it just messed up their draft selection. We all know they're not winning the Super Bowl. Enjoy the win, your season is coming to an end as well.

Yall won a SuperBowl and we gave yall your props, and you deserved to win cause you came to play and did just that and won The SuperBowl, so why can't we? It don't matter, we earned it and we're coming to play and we're ready! Go Falcons!!!!!!!
Very Well!!!!!!! And just think I alway did root for New Orleans when they were playing anybody but Atlanta!!!! You got something against Atlanta? If it's nothing personal and I know it's your preference but I still think you need to change your pattern of thought??? If not it's all good!!! Yall are out of the playoff's and it really don't matter and I'll still root for New Orleans anyway next year until you get to Atlanta!!!!

I just rather see some other team win it. Nothing wrong with that. It's a preference.

Yeah unknown_whodat, that's probably why your team will only get to watch the SuperBowl this year instead of being in it!!!!! You don't even have to watch it if you don't want to since your team is not a contender!!!!!! wedat the (Atlanta Falcons) and whodat (You) gets to watch us play!!!!!!!!hehehehehehehe Go Falcons!!!!!!

And besides, GM's I think pretty much share the philosophy "win for today, not tomorrow". While fans may want to "play for the draft" I don't think most team upper brass feel that way. Besides, you can find great players late in the draft and not have to pay them as much.
You are right Jess, all players are risks because,at any point in time they could be injured,or get into trouble and before you know it,their career is over. However, the rewards in most cases outweigh the risks.

My guess is 24th, 25th. Worth it? No. But considering we were defending our title, I'll go with YES, it was worth it.

Of course not. Super Bowl > Draft pick.

Nice rationalization. However, trolling has nothing to do with agreeing, nor disagreeing. It is the manner upon which an individual chooses to interact. I've seen two people argue over the shade of a colour that resulted in a near physical altercation (believe it or not); I've also seen people diametrically opposed to one another's views, and left the table still adherent to their perspectives but with a greater knowledge as to the perspective of the other. It's a question of mentality, and one's psycho-social "health". You think that's funny, or that I'm projecting? Not at all. Take a look at society. With that being said, this discussion is becoming boorish. I'm done...
