thats pretty cool. i miss having a minor league team. we used to have class d team of the dodgers years ago
It's great seeing as living now in TN we can't drive to Wrigley in an instant, but we can make a 20 min drive to watch the young Cubs of the future...that is why I'am a bit upset with sending Colvin back without really giving him a fair shake this season.

Castro, Barney, Campana, all have come up through the Cubs minor leagues...have watched them with the Smokies here in Tn. They are the Cubs future for sure.

It was the pinch runner for Soriano...could not trust him to do that...pay him too much to be able to do that.

Woooh Yeah Reed Johnson ties it up with 2 run homer. 5-5 Could have been winning but for Sorry's misque on that ground ball.

So typical, what does it take to put Colvin in his place...oh that's right, we sent Colvin to AAA because he plays as bad as Soriano. I just don't get it.

It was between innings. Len and Bob were laughing pretty good and they showed some of the players in the dugout laughing too.

I don't know , but he needs to quit rubbing off on Byrd. Struck out his last 5 AB's.

Mike Carlos Pena seems to be heating up. He already has five home runs this month after having none in April. He's batting .333 in May, compared to a .159 batting average in April. Seeing the ball better...just walked.

At least the first run was earned.
And we have not been able to hold leads when we get them, so maybe this is a good start, we can get a come from behind victory!
