I don't know...while I somewhat see the sense in trading for starting pitching I don't see the sense in trading Casper Wells when Magglio can't play every day. Tigers are starting as many left handed and switch hitters as possible. I think Fister will pitch well, offense will score some runs. Tigers win.

Thanks for the correction update. I am learning that I need to dig a little deeper on the stats side of things. However, my gut still tells me I am right, and I see Detroit winning this one.

Actually, Masterson is 9-7 with a 2.63 ERA. I've noticed that some things have been fixed like Derek Lowey is now Derek Lowe, but the stats are still wrong.

Both teams are starting pitchers with losing records, but fairly good ERA. I don't think the Indians will be able to catch the Tigers tail.

Fister wil be a major asset down the stretch. From the Indians point of view, they have to be thinking sweep and they're tied for first. Will it happen?..................... My money's on the Tigers!

masterson has came back to earth after his hot start to the season, fister should've gotten the win (that was the game benoit blew the lead in the 8th) in his tigers debut, but he will be the winning pitcher tonight
