And if you only win one game of the series, best it be the last one. Head into that west showdown against the Snakes on a winning note. Big big series this weekend....
San Francisco Giants 8/31/11
And on another note... Rowand and Tejada designated for assignment today. Good riddance to Miggy but thank you Aaron for helping to bring a World Series to The City.

The Panda splashes down! Back to backs! A smorgasbord of homers for the Giants!

And that ends another 6 game homer drought...

Nice to see the Giants have purchased the contract of Brett Pill. He tore up the PCL. Hope he can do that at the Major League level...

That's how we feel about our pitcher sometimes too....with so many RISP LOB and then we also sometimes must expect it to be a complete game thrown by our starter so that we don't give it up in the ninth....so...we feel your pain...compare losses....not feeling sorry for you...so Go Cubs Go.

woodsmoke14 wrote: Hey we have had our own troubles of late, left 77 RISP LOB out of the last 9 games. we would have no losses at all if only 1 quarter of those runners had scored. More then once, bases were loaded and no outs, and we still could not get a man home. Next Season is as close as April.
We all have our issues. Giants are dead last with 3.35 runs scored per game. the next worst? Padres at 3.76. Almost a full half run a game! Cubs are 9th at 4.07. If the Giants could score at even what the Padres do they would be leading the division by 10 games.
