I have never seen Memorial stadium more electrified than Saturday night in the second half. The crowd stood for most of the second half. That included the entire lower stadium.

The second half was a great game. Remember that often drives and games turn on small things. In the first half when the Huskers went for a fourth down the D line bit on Burkhead, Martinez ran into Kyler Reed and got tackled before he could get going enough for the first down; if not for the collision with Reed he would have gone for six. OSU moved it down and scored. Remember it turns on small things.

Daughters always come first!

My daughter was in an all day volleyball tourney. They went 5-0, won it all, and we were out celebrating through the first half. I'll try not to let it happen again.

I hate waiting all day for our game, I have a very short attention span for most of these other games when we have a big night game...though Iowa-Penn State are both on our schedule so I am keeping that one on!

You were correct about few night games @ home. USC and Viginia Tech were the home losses.

Scary stat...Nebraska is 2-8 (including Big XII Championships) when appearing on ABC/ESPN Saturday Night Football.
