I have never seen Memorial stadium more electrified than Saturday night in the second half. The crowd stood for most of the second half. That included the entire lower stadium.

The second half was a great game. Remember that often drives and games turn on small things. In the first half when the Huskers went for a fourth down the D line bit on Burkhead, Martinez ran into Kyler Reed and got tackled before he could get going enough for the first down; if not for the collision with Reed he would have gone for six. OSU moved it down and scored. Remember it turns on small things.

My daughter was in an all day volleyball tourney. They went 5-0, won it all, and we were out celebrating through the first half. I'll try not to let it happen again.
Family first. Congrats to her team for winning it all.

Why weren't you watching earlier? Would've made it easier on all of us.

Maybe it's because most Nebraska fans stay sober enough to remember the game? ;)

Agreed. Memorial Stadium seems dead most of the time.

The Penn State game is looking bigger every week, their defense is stout and they opened up the run game on Iowa today. Looking in on the Northwestern-Michigan game now!

Please forgive my RANTING but, I tend to watch the big games by myself and my dog has a vocabulary of less than 300 words so, she doesn't understand...
"WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!" = caninese for "GO! B1G! RED!"
Sheesh, I think last week's game made me insane! lol

Exactly! Then get the ball to Kyler Reed and Jamal Turner...

Hey, secondary (Dennard, et al)!
The "N" on the side of the helmet SHOULD NOT stand for NAP......it SHOULD stand for NEUTRALIZE!!!

I hate waiting all day for our game, I have a very short attention span for most of these other games when we have a big night game...though Iowa-Penn State are both on our schedule so I am keeping that one on!
Right there with you!
I feel like Tom Petty in 1981...
The rest of the season is going to be very interesting. I think it's awesome Nebraska is playing all these teams they haven't played much.
GO Bugeaters!!!

I would guess most of those game were on the road, I can't remember all that many home night games.
Interestingly, the breakdown of losses is as follows:
Home: 2
Road: 3
Neutral: 3
You were correct about few night games @ home. USC and Viginia Tech were the home losses.

I stumbled upon a cool page that shows various Nebraska mascots and logos over the years.
