No no... It wasn't a choke. It was because of the officiating! (Sound familiar?)

Man... Some Wing fans are just bad winners....

So if the sharks lose to the wings its because the sharks didnt play well but if the wings lose to the sharks its because the sharks did play well? No credit at all that the wings owned every aspect of the game last nite? they only owned it cause the sharks let them, right?
Don't turn what I said into an absolute. Last night, the Sharks played badly. The Islanders would have beaten them. There are nights when the Sharks play well and get beat. Just like (Shocker!) there are nights when the Wings play well and get beat.

What an incredibly entertaining game last night... the Wings were able to keep up the intensity that they built in the 3rd Period of Game Five and brought it for all three periods of Game Six! I was getting a little frustrated that it was taking so long to get a few shots past Niemi, especially since a couple were misses on wide-open looks and have to admit was a little worried after the Sharks went up 1-0 on that dribbler past Jimmy Howard. I have seen too many games go down in defeat after dominating nearly every phase of the game which is what the Wings were doing last night (or maybe the Sharks backed-off again). If not for Niemi, that game is a blowout.
If the Wings continue to play like that tomorrow, the series is over! Oh wait, the series will be over regardless of how they play! :-)
Looking forward to Game Seven!

At least when their opponents play like minor leaguers you shouldn't....

Sharks lost their cool there at the end. I like it!
Not at the end of the first... They kept their cool then in spite of the Wings mugging their Captain.
If you are talking about the end of the game I didn't see it. I turned it off when the empty net was scored.

If you are talking about the legal hit on him in the first... What about it? Dats wasn't knocked down at the end of the period. It was Thornton who got mugged. But I never complained about all that. Wings fans are.

Niimi was crap hot tonight! This game would have been an absolute blowout without him standing in the net!
Yep. He was hot crap for 50 minutes and 30 seconds. Then he crashed down to the level of the rest of the Sharks....

I, just speaking for myself, don't blame the refs. San Jose's goal was because of another poor decision by the Red Wings in their own zone. The Sharks have a very good team, with some great players. Game 7 will come down to execution, heart, and experience. May the best team win. Go Red Wings!
You are in the minority among Wing fans. But I agree... The Shark goal was a soft one. It's just that Niemi was having a great game I was hoping that one fluky goal would hold. But to be honest, the Sharks had no business even being in the game as they played like crap ALL game long. They lost every neutral zone battle. And that is what lost the game for them. Not bad officiating. (And the officiating was bad this time) Game 7 has the potential to be intense... I hope the Sharks show up for it....

Do you know the way to San Jose? Yes, it's where the Sharks will play their last game, and where the Red Wings will win Game 7. Let's Go Red Wings!

I wish those cheap shots they did to Thornton at the end of the 1st got called. I wish the trip on Stetto was called. (That was VERY blatant). I wish the ticky tack call on Boyle was let go. I wish they called the too many men on the ice when the Wings had 8 guys out there. But guess what? It isn't. The reffing is what it is. Stop moaning about it.

Doesn't matter. If you want to comment on the poor officiating it would be best to point out bad calls and miscalls that go both ways. Else you sound like you are just moaning about calls going against your team.
