I agree, and that's why I kind of settled down. I was extremely pissed last night towards the end of the game, and I even logged on to FanIQ via my droid, which I never do. I'll admit I'm disgruntled, but I will be keeping my posts more productive (I hope)

There were at least 4 obvious calls last night that were blatant "he's the star" type of calls in which there was no contact or minimal contact that didn't affect the shot. Like Chandler's foul on Lebron, or Terry's foul on Wade late in the game. Would just be nice if for once the Mavs would get the same type of calls.

I don't see Miami being any faster than OKC. They might be more solid, but definitely not more transition speed than OKC did. I don't think this game is going to come down to who is faster, but who makes more mistakes.

There's no need for me to waste my breath. I came here and posted nothing but constructive posts, and then threw in on satire. One person became offended with the satire, so I just asked if their feelings were hurt. There's no need for me to lower my intelligence because of one person. Now, if a whole pack comes out here and starts something, I'll gladly jump in.

Yeah, but what I'm saying is that we are forcing teams to become jump shooting teams, and a problem with Miami is that they shoot just as well outside as inside. Problem with the Mavs is they can't drive at all (well, except guys that sit on the bench all series... like Brewer, Beaubois, Butler), and yes... I understand Butler has been hurt but he has also been practicing (as well as Beaubois) and I'm hoping they get some playing time this series.

I guess you only heard part of the story then. Because there was more to it than what you mentioned.

I am sentimental when it comes to west coast team, so I rooting for Dallas somewhat. Would like to see former UNLV Rebel Shawn Marion get a ring, however Joel Anthony of the Heat is also from UNLV. The Heat has Juwan Howard who is in his 17th year in the NBA and does not have a ring. Whoever wins I will be happy, just want to see a great series, but if I have to make a pick it will be Miami in 7 giving Lebron his first ring.
I forgot about Juwan Howard...yeah, it would be good to see him get a ring...the TV ratings will be off the charts tonight...everybody watching the saga of King James!!

As much as I love when the Mavs play zone (because I think they are the best team in the league at it), they might be better off playing Man... but then they'll wear down easier... I still think the Heat wins the series though.
very well said Eric...and I believe the Mavs would be unstoppable with a healthy Caron Butler (he would have defended the perimeter very well)...
