You do know last night was only his second game back on the year, right? I'm guessing you didn't by that comment.

I can see your problem now, you're just jealous of how good he is. I'd like to see how funny you'd think it was if YOU got a concussion. You wouldn't be laughing about it, now would you? Don't bother answering, we all know the answer to that question is an emphatic no. But if you do ever get a concussion, be sure to let me know so I can laugh at you. Wishing injury on someone just shows that you hate them out of pure jealousy, and it's one of the most childish things in life. If my worst enemy got seriously injured I would certainly not be laughing, because I'm better than that.

Shots on goal could be crappy ones, aimed right at the goalie. I'm just sayin...
Sometimes that's true, but the Blues had a huge number of quality scoring chances through the first 2 periods, and Fleury denied every one after giving up the first goal.

I'm actually completely right. You know why they got 2 goals and forced OT? It was because of Fleury. The Blues only had 1 goal when they were up 22-8 in shots on goal. Many times when a team outplays their opponent by that wide a margin and only gets one goal to show for it through 2 periods, they usually find a way to lose it. Tonight, the Blues were the better team, and they had to go to OT to prove it. If it was anyone else but Fleury in goal for the Pens, they Blues would've easily scored at least 4 goals if not more and the game never goes to OT. He is the sole reason that game went past regulation in the first place.

"they were outplayed so badly for the entire game." Totally wrong there. How did they score two goals and force overtime then? Huh?

I'd say they passed the test with flying colors, Scott. The Pens had no business getting that OT point with how well the Blues outplayed them 95% of that game.
Ken Hitchcock has made a world of difference with this team. Blues have gotten 12 out of possible 16 points since he took over

Fleury was the only thing that kept the Blues from scoring 5 goals or more on the night, 43 shots and he made 40 saves. That OT game winner was a product of 2 Pens banging into each other in front of the net. Fleury is quick side-to-side, but no goalie is going to be able to get over that fast. He had an empty net to the right of Fleury and knocked it home. But that game never should've gone to OT anyway, this is a night that the Pens got a pity point. I'll take it with a grain of salt, but they were outplayed so badly for the entire game.

It didn't happen. Blues win in ot. Never saw that one coming but it was a good game. More like hockey should be. Lots of hitting, lots of checking, lots of shots and great saves. Glad the Blues pulled this one out. But still need to work on that power play.

The NHL so does not need him.

The Kid came back with a vengeance, 4 points to start with watch out hockey world hopefully a lot more of this! GO PENS....GO SID

I do see upside with this team that I didn't see a few weeks ago, but we can't afford to have many "off" games like they had last night!!!!
respect
The good news though is that we're least playing pretty well at even strength. So, if we can figure out how to get something going on the power play, and find a way to get our penalty kill back to normal ........we can turn this around.
respect
The Blues weren't terrible overall, but the Kings were just better last night and took over the game after the first period
respect
come on guys......we can't win a 60 minute game when you only play for 20!!!!!!!!!!

Halak played very well - hung out to dry by jackman on the first two goals, and unlucky deflection on the third.....
