Now the season is finally over, April can not come soon enough...

Rockies on November 5th are 18:1 odds to win the 2010 World Series, which is 10th overall, not bad, but the Mets and Cubs and Rays have better odds?

As long as they make some serious moves during the off season, I think, and they have proved, to be a World Series contender. They have to come in the first half and play better baseball. Just 10 games better in the first half with the way they play the second half would have won the division over the last couple of years.

I'm not sure about 2008, I'd have to do more research, but last year, they actually needed four games: Colorado finished a miserable 4-14 against the Dodgers. Had they won four more of those games, the Rockies would have been NL West Champions, and the Dodgers the Wild-Card. Five of the games were decided by one run, so you have to think at least those five were winnable, especially the three one-run losses at Coors Field. Furthermore the Rox only won two of nine at home against LA, while posting a 51-30 home record overall, meaning they were 49-23 against everyone else at Coors!

I know they played better, but not particularly well, against the Giants, so as I see it, the Rockies should build their team to beat LA and SF, the two teams that are contending with them in the West, and with whom they play almost a quarter of their schedule!
