Stephenpdavern, I never drink and I am a member of MADD since I lost a son to a drunk driver so please do not tell me I drink too much. I will respect this site however....my dad was a Yankee fan his entire life which I could never understand but then it went back to the Babe being traded. Don't hate on Alex Gonzles either.

It was a long road and a scary playoff but talking about paying off in the end...after 9 long years we are back on the top of the mountain...This new installment of the yankees gelled more than any other in the last 9 years...and it showed...i cant wait till febuary GO YANKEES!!!!!

sibby, I don't care how old you are or how long you've watched baseball. Gonzo is not the answer at shortstop. Great defense, yes, but we need our ss to have a bat too. This year he was6th in fielding percentage behind rollins, tulowitski, jeter, izturis and scutaro. Not the best, and hes not even in the top 50 ss of all time. He's been around 11yrs and has a .970 fielding percentage. Omar Vizquel is #1all time with .984. I do know what i'm talking about sibby. He's not even close to the best. Hanley ramirez is only 2 behind gonzo this year, BUT, He hits over .300!!!!!

gonzales is a decent at best,his hitting is less than par and defense is pretty good so i kinda agree to hold on to him until next season and see whats out there then.
