Recap: UNC Greensboro vs. Citadel

Greensboro, NC (Sports Network) - Cameron Wells tallied 12 points and nine rebounds to pace The Citadel Bulldogs in their 57-50 triumph over the UNC Greensboro Spartans in Southern Conference play.
Demetrius Nelson posted 11 points for The Citadel (5-3, 1-0 SoCon), which got 10 points from Austin Dahn.
Landon Clement had 15 points in the loss for UNC Greensboro (1-4, 0-1).
The Citadel shot 50 percent from the floor in the first half while limiting UNC Greensboro to 28.1 percent efficiency in the stanza. After 20 minutes of play, the Bulldogs owned a 24-22 advantage.
While The Citadel did not shoot quite as well in the second half, it was able to limit the Spartans to 10-of-32 shooting from the field over the final 20 minutes to claim the victory.
A 41-35 rebounding advantage played a role in the win for The Citadel.
