Recap: Louisville vs. Indiana State

Louisville, KY (Sports Network) - Earl Clark posted 16 points and nine rebounds, leading 11th-ranked Louisville to a 83-43 rout of Indiana State in the Marques Maybin Classic at Freedom Hall.
Terrence Williams added 12 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Cardinals (3-1), whose only loss came at the hands of Western Kentucky. Samardo Samuels contributed 11 points, while Edgar Sosa had 10 in the win.
Jay Tunnell had nine points and seven rebounds for Indiana State (0-6), which was coming off a 56-54 loss to Arkansas State. Brant Leitnaker added nine points and five rebounds in the loss.
Louisville got off to a quick start and never looked back. Jerry Smith's layup a couple minutes into the game gave the Cardinals a 7-0 lead, and Williams made a couple free throws to make it 21-3 in favor of the hosts.
Sosa's layup in the waning seconds of the half gave Louisville a commanding 50-17 lead headed into the break, and Indiana State never came close in the second half.
