Recap: Miami-Florida vs. Clemson
By Sports Network
Miami Gardens, FL (Sports Network) - Freshman quarterback Kyle Parker completed a 26-yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Ford in overtime, as the Clemson Tigers surprised the eighth-ranked Miami Hurricanes, 40-37, in a wild ACC matchup at Land Shark Stadium.
After Richard Jackson tied the game at 34 with a 30-yard field goal with five seconds left in the fourth quarter, forcing overtime, it didn't take long for the Tigers to come away with the win.
Matt Bosher started the extra period by converting a 22-yard field goal on Miami's first chance with the ball, but Clemson ended it on its only offensive try. Facing a 3rd-and-11, Parker hit Ford across the middle of the field for a 26-yard score to give Clemson the victory.
