Recap: Tennessee vs. Cleveland
By Sports Network
Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - The vaunted rushing tandem of Chris Johnson and LenDale White both scored a touchdown, as the well-rested Tennessee Titans clinched the AFC South division with a 28-9 win over the Cleveland Browns at LP Field.
Johnson rushed for 136 yards on 19 carries, and White added 99 yards for the Titans (12-1), who captured their first division championship since 2002. Kerry Collins completed 14-of-23 passes for 155 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions, for Tennessee, which was coming off a 47-10 thrashing of the lowly Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.
The Titans can secure a first-round bye with a New York Jets loss to San Francisco on Sunday.
With Derek Anderson (knee) and Brady Quinn (finger) done for the season, Ken Dorsey got the nod for Cleveland (4-9), marking his first start since November 2005 as a member of the 49ers and just the 11th of his six-year career. The former Miami-Florida standout finished 22-of-43 for 150 yards and had one interception for the Browns, who have lost three in a row and five of six games.
Jamal Lewis was limited to seven yards on seven carries in the loss.
