Recap: Oakland vs. NY Jets

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Sebastian Janikowski drilled a 57-yard field goal with 2:30 remaining in overtime and the Oakland Raiders edged the New York Jets, 16-13, earning interim head coach Tom Cable his first victory.
JaMarcus Russell completed 17-of-30 passes for 203 yards and one touchdown for the Raiders (2-4), who snapped a three-game losing streak. Justin Fargas gained 74 yards on the ground, while Javon Walker led all Raiders receivers with 75 yards and a score on five receptions. Rookie running back Darren McFadden rushed for 39 yards and caught three balls for 50 yards.
Brett Favre, who engineered a last-minute scoring drive to force overtime, connected on 21-of-38 passes for 197 yards and two interceptions for the Jets (3-3), who had been victorious in their previous two outings. Thomas Jones ran for 159 yards on 24 carries and Laveranues Coles finished with 51 yards on four receptions.
