By Sports Network
St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - David Perron recorded his first career hat trick to lead the St. Louis Blues to a 6-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks at Scottrade Center.
Andy McDonald, Erik Johnson and Brad Boyes also scored for the Blues, who halted a five-game winless skid (0-2-3) in the opener of a six-game homestand that will continue on Thursday against Nashville.
Chris Mason made 22 saves in the victory.
Henrik Sedin tallied the only goal for Vancouver, which has lost two straight on the heels of a three-game win streak.
Roberto Luongo, who had been out of action since October 28 because of a hairline rib fracture, returned to the ice and ended with 15 saves, but it was not in a starting role. Andrew Raycroft was again between the pipes, but lasted only one period after he allowed four goals on 13 shots before being pulled.
