Software Engineer

FanIQ is building out a development team that already includes two A+ engineers. Specific titles and job description will vary according to experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of professional development experience (preferable with a web 2.0 stack)
• Expertise with PHP, AJAX, DHTML and XML.
• SQL, Database design, MySQL
• Professional experience using one or more OOP languages: Java, C/C++ or C#
• Start-up mentality and experience with short software lifecycles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills
• Fast learner - can quickly come up to speed with different technologies and develop prototypes as needed

Desired Skill & Experience

• Development experience on LINUX.
• Inversion of Control (MVC Frameworks: Cake PHP, Zend etc)
• BS in Computer Science or comparable experience

Front End Developer

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional web development experience.
• Expertise in cross-platform AJAX, DHTML, XHTML, CSS 2.0, JavaScript 1.5, XML, and XSLT.
• Experience building efficient, dynamic, data-driven, and scalable browser based user interfaces and web applications.
• Experience with short web oriented software lifecycles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills. Must be extremely detail oriented.
• Fast learner - can quickly come up to speed with different technologies and develop prototypes as needed.

Desired Skill & Experience

• Flash/ActionScript and/or Photoshop experience a plus.
• Experience with Search Engine Optimization techniques
• Development experience in LINUX environments.
• PHP development experience.
• BS in Computer Science or comparable experience.
