Geoff Collins (former Director of Player Personnel-Ga Tech) has joined Alabama football in the same position. His duties will include supervising coaching clinics, camps, and organizing on-campus recruiting. Previous experience @ Ga Tech include a highly ranked recruiting season, tight end coach, and graduate assistant coach. He also served as defensive coordinator at Western Carolina, and coached linebackers.
Sounds like Saban is looking to focus on finding and training talent and skill in upcoming players. Will hiring Collins make the Tide play like a force of nature? I sure hope so!
