Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Rich Peverley notched the winner in the shootout and Slava Kozlov added insurance as Atlanta rallied from a two-goal deficit to down St. Louis, 3-2, at Philips Arena. Peverley began the shootout with a successful wrister then Andy McDonald of the Blues failed in his chance. Kozlov added another score before Brad Boyes' had the puck poke- checked away by Johan Hedberg. Boyes argued that his rebound, which was lifted into the net, counted as a shot but the closest official immediately waved off the goal. Tobias Enstrom and Ron Hainsey tallied in regulation for the Thrashers, who snapped a two-game slide. Hedberg made 30 saves. McDonald and David Perron scored for the Blues, who have dropped a season-high five straight games. Ty Conklin took the loss despite stopping 38 shots.
