+1 thumbs upI was about to take Willingham because Braves and visitors alike are hitting the ball all over the place @ Turner, but Chuck James absolutely owns him.  Maybe I should stop paying attention to matchups, didn't help me last night.  It's pretty hard for a good hitter to go 0-4, regardless of past pitcher dominance.  I'll just shut up until I'm back on top.

When I try to look at my answers, they show up blank, and it won't let me make a pick.

I don't care about the points really, but so I can keep my streak alive, I would like it to be known that I am taking Chase Utley (even though I don't like him). Can you hook me up, Tom?

I'm using game 2.  That's the game and matchup that was scheduled for today (did that sound good?  I just yanked that one out of thin air).

Emil Brown was leading the team in some offensive category when I made the poll.  I can't remember which one.  I've got to throw some new faces in there every once in a while.  Since no one is making any requests, I've got to do a colon cleansing to find some new meat every now and then.

That infield single just assured that over 30 people will continue a streak.

I'm putting all 8 place hitters on the next poll.  lol

+1 thumbs upThat's a good idea.  Gotta keep us on our toes!    Do it by position some days?

Make an all pitcher one.  That will shrink the list a bit.

lol...that would be great.  Do you think it would be a unanimous vote every time I had Micah Owings on there?

In case everyone forgot (and by the reaction so far, they have), I do take requests.  Within reason of course.  I finally got one from cd0g23 today.  That helps me out.  I don't have to think so much everyday about who to put on each poll.  And anyone that knows me well knows that I don't like to think a whole lot.

Scott Podsednik would be a cool addition, he seems to have nailed down a regular spot in the rotation, and he's playing like he did in his prime.

If you put Owings on a hitting streak poll on a day he starts, I'd quite possibly take him.

So really average?  I can't believe he's lasted this long.

lol, I kind of wondered what I meant as I said it, he's never been great, but he's been the spark plug for some really good teams.  And he still has elite speed.  Went 3-4 today.

Good for him.  I think its funny to see where former Brewers are and how they're doing.  He's not a player I'd ever want to depend on, but he can bring some things to the table.
