I never talk about the ending of movies around people because I know it is a sensitive issue.

I on the other hand could care less if someone tells me the ending, for me what matters is how I get there.  The only time I would have been mad is if someone had told me the ending of "The Usual Suspects" before I had seen it.

OOOPS forgot to add:

#3 - I was driving home from work when the DJ on the radio gave away the ending to The Sixth Sense. Then once I saw the beginning of the movie, the rest of it was boring for me!

+2 thumbs upI will dish stuff out if asked, but if someone is planning on seeing the movie, I don't want to spoil it for them.

When I was 11, I saw Star Wars.  It was mid summer and it had been playing since the end of May.  Many other kids saw it two, three times already.  I went with a group and in my group, behind me was a kid who already saw it.  And kept blurting out that something coming up was "cool" and would say things like, "watch this, the planet's gonna blow up!"  I wanted to slap this kid.  And I was only 11!

Oh and #3 - there are very few movies that I would be upset if I knew the ending before I watch it...any good movie with a twist (which are my favorite movies). Other than that, I really don't care. I'm one of those people that half the time I get so engrossed in the movie that I completely forget that something specific is supposed to happen anyway.

+1 thumbs upit doesn't bother me if someone spills the ending to me, sometimes I read the last page of a book first... but if I'm going to talk about a show or movie or book I always ask if it will bother whomever I'm talking to first....

Really?  You are obviously much smarter than I am, than again I went to Isla Nublar looking for Jurassic Park so... that was a waste of 5 grand.

No doubt, I think I dropped my coffee cup at the same time as the detective in the movie. I remember when I was in a barbershop quartet back in Skokie, Illinois. Great movie

I try to make sure that when I am discussing a movie that everyone in the general area has seen the movie or has no desire to go see it. I have accidently ruined the ending of a movie for a couple people becuase they were close enough to hear the conversation. OOPS!

I worked in a cube farm a few years ago, and I cant remember for the life of me what the movie was, but it had come out on Friday and this loud mouth on the other side of the wall told some guy the "kicker" of the movie.  Obviously it wasn't that important.

Well, it's not a matter of being smart.  Just an understanding of how movies tend to work.

If you haven't seen The Ususal Suspects, STOP READING!!!

A movie doesn't go through all it does if Spacey WASN'T Keyser Soze!
The real surprise would have been if Roger Kint was only Roger Kint.  That would have gone against traditional movie work.

I dont normally but sometimes to be an a$$ I will.  I think its funny how some people get so worked up over knowing the end to a fictional story.
