Cleveland Browns Stadium

last saturday night during a Kenney Chesney concert a water pipe broke. This forced them to shut down some womens bathrooms because raw sewage was overflowing through the toilets and there was about 7 inches of water on the bottom floor near section 107. the locker rooms were damaged and the team shop is now shut down. Water is still flowing out of Cleveland Browns Stadium. They have not located the broken pipe yet but they are searching. They have already had to cancel the family fun night practice at the stadium scheduled for august 4th and the presale ticket tailgate scheduled for this afternoon. There are rumors going around that they will not have it fixed by the August 11th preseason opener against the kansas City Chiefs. They might relocate it or just cancel the game because it is preseason what do you think.

No they don't really stink. It was during a kenney chesney concert. So it is kenney chesney who stinks. they have had 5 concerts and 2 of the concerts have had sewage problems.

Yeah that is probably where they will end up going if they have to relocate it.  They are working around the clock to get It ready to play. That would be pretty cool if they went down to the shoe to play the game.

Surprised you didn't have a Canton option for question 2. Those people would love a second game in August.

The Browns are named after raw sewage how ironic!

No they aren't again it happened during a kenney chesney concert. They found out the cause of the problem. All of the toilets have a flushometer and all of those malfunctioned and that is what made the water and raw sewage come up and make about 7 inches of water and raw sewage on the bottom floor. I am thinking they will have it ready for the august 11th homeopener now that they found the problem and they are working really hard to get it ready. I was hoping they would move it because that would just be cool to have a browns home game somewhere other than cleveland browns stadium.

This is a very tricky situation.  First, the stadium workers should try to make the repairs and every effort must be made to play at Cleveland Browns Stadium.  If not, the Browns could probably still make money by moving the game.  My first suggestion was to play it at Arrowhead and have the Chiefs play in Cleveland next year, but the Royals play next door that day and the gate might not be as big.

With that off the table, the Browns come out best by playing at Akron.  The Tigers play at Comerica Park on that day, so neighboring Ford Field is out.  The Steelers will be playing Green Bay in Pittsburgh that day, so Heinz is out.  Ohio Stadium is too big to hold a preseason game, so it's out.  Paul Brown is a possibility, but the Reds would be playing nearby on August 12.  Meanwhile, Akron is only 40 or so miles away and has a greater seating capacity than the other ballparks.  Going to Akron would make the Browns the most money, if the stadium isn't ready, so they should go there.

Very Nice I like how you broke everything down. And no I am not being sarcastic. I like a person who does that when it comes to football. See I actually thought that the steelers played the packers friday the 10th. Yeah Akron would make them the most money maybe. But I think that if it was at the shoe (ohio Stadium) they would have a big croud there because of the history of the shoe and fans would come out to watch the browns and to see the stadium and stuff. But anyways they are going to probably have the game at Cleveland Browns Stadium on the 11th. They have been working really really hard to have it there. And I am 99% sure they will have it there. It didn't look like they were going to have it there but once they found the problem they really got on it and worked really hard to have it there. oh yeah I wanted to ask you since you are a falcons fan do you support Mike Vick??
