Do you think Kyle Petty should no longer be racing?
Kyle Petty's poor racing performance has made me come to terms that he needs to get out of Sprint cup racing altogether. If he wishes to keep on racing competively, maybe he needs to step down into a Nationwide series car.

 +4 thumbs upHe isn't the only one.  But I totally agree he should run a full Nationwide season and try to be a contender.  I'm a big fan of the King but maybe Kyle could try to race for a different team.  When Petty racing was competitive Kyle was competitive.

 +3 thumbs upYes, I agree it's time to hang up the keyes to the #45 car and go concentrate on VJGC or Petty Enterprises in another capacity. Enough is enough !!!  I love all the Veterans but when it's time to go, it's time to go !!!

 +1 thumbs upI've heard him say that if Adam was still alive he would've been out of it a long time ago. I think they should give a new driver a chance. That is the only way that car will be successful.

 yeah he needs to give it up.. he past his prime and hes just out there to keep the name out there.. thats it.. he needs to step out and let a up and comer step into it and prove himself..

 +1 thumbs upOther than Bobby Labonte (and it isn't LaBonte or Labonte with an accent thank you very much!) Kyle doesn't have a quality driver for Petty Enterprises.  I think he NEEDS to stay in the car until he can find another driver! Petty Enterprises has their sponsors now because of the name and not the performance.  I think if they are able to pull in a quality driver who can really compete, then in turn pull in a sponsor who wants to back THAT driver, we will see Kyle go strictly to broadcasting.  Until then, I think he has to stay IN the car, at least on a part time basis.
