#2 \| 39 days ago ML31 (+)	I'm a Giants enthusiast so I have to believe. But they need bats. Sadly, there are no good bats to buy so that means trading. I'm not sure the Giants want to part with more pitching. Enter the poll to see my answer

#4 \| 37 days ago vindog (+)	The Giants need some heavy bats- but TOO MUCH of the payroll is wrapped up in their pitchers...... Unless they decide to SPEND more money on those bats- I say NO WAY! And if they don't bring in those bats and STILL hang on to their Pitching Staff- once again they will finish no better than third in the NL West! Enter the poll to see my answer

The rest are pretty cheap for a couple more years. Their money is tied up in idiot contracts to the likes of Rowand, Renteria and Winn. Also, this year Roberts pay finally comes off the books. And a couple more bad contracts end too. Not sure how much money is going towards pay increases to players currently under contract, though. It might be a wash. But, last year their pay was about $82. 13th most in the Majors. Since the current free agent hitters are not worth the kind of money some fool is likely to spend, the Giants best bet is to make a trade for a bat. Maybe two if they could pull it off. I'm just not so sure how much more minor league pitching they are willing to part with. I have heard it said that you can never have too much pitching. Enter the poll to see my answer
