+1 thumbs up5. This was tough for me with the Pepsi 400 photo finish, but I had to give this to Sykora's and his called shot.

1. None of them. Game 5 or 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.  Both had fantastic finishes.

2. :(

3. I still need to see Leatherheads.

4. None. Mike Babcock or Bruce Boudreau.

5. Gotta go with a hockey one.

6. Crosby...or Malkin...or Ovechkin

7. Brady

8. Glad to see we think Paul is the best, he got robbed in the MVP voting.

Is that the best they could come up with for best game?  You could find better games than those on beer league softball diamonds in any town on any given summer night!

The coach category is a joke as well if you don't include Babcock.

1.  Yes, I'm a homer, get over it!  Still, that was a fantastic game.  And a fantastic football game, beats the greatest game in any sport.  Don't bother replying, it's just my opinion, and no, it's not a humble one.
2.  The Mississippi Miracle was pretty awesome, but crazy @#$% happens in D-III football all the time.  To have that play, in the Super Bowl, and what it meant, that was just amazing.  U go catch a football w/ ur head.  Better yet, use a billiards ball.  Oh, and yeah, homer!!
3.  I haven't seen any of these.  Leatherheads looked good, so I'll go w/ that.
4.  I wanted to be a homer, but c'mon, who's a better coach than Pat Summit?  I'm not saying she could go to the NBA and be what she is, but Phil Jackson couldn't go to Women's College ball and do what she does, either.
5.  It ruined my bracket, but wow, what a finish.
6.  Again homer, but this affects me on a diff level.  Everyone praised the 343 fireman for 9/11, but what about the workers who survived and r now living w/ illness and rn't getting the support to either cure them, or help them along?  George Martin decided to bring this attention and accomplished a great feat in doing so.  He's from the state I live in, played for the team I love, and helped the people whom I call brother.
7.  Ok, ok, homer pick.  But mostly b/c I don't believe any of these people could be called the best overall football player.  Brady's considered the best QB, Moss is considered the best WR (this year, anyway), but overall, I can't call any of them, or anybody, the singular best player in the league.
8.  I think Paul should have gotten the MVP, but Kobe is still the best player in the league.
1. Super Bowl XLII: Giants over Patriots  2. Super Bowl: Eli Manning to David Tyree  3. Leatherheads  4. Pat Summit (Tennessee Women's Basketball)  5. Hilltopers advance  6. George Martin (Former NFL Player)  7. Eli Manning (NY Giants)  8. Kobe Bryant (LA Lakers)

#1 and #2 hurt, but facts are facts. That was a great game, and that was a great play, period.

For #7, Brady and Moss are really the only ones who deserve any votes at all.

1. Super Bowl XLII: Giants over Patriots  2. Super Bowl: Eli Manning to David Tyree  3. The Game Plan  4. Terry Francona (Boston Red Sox)  5. Penguins Stay Alive   6. Manny Ramirez (Boston Red Sox)  7. Randy Moss (NE Patriots)  8. Chris Paul (NO Hornets)
