Ever won anything???

So my girl won Metric tickets on a radio call in contest (I'm stoked about that) and some years back my dad won over 100k on a lottery. Myself, besides my poker winnings or random wins in Vegas, I've won diddly.

What's the best/coolest/dopest thing you've ever won??

The best thing though was winning a bike when I was the top fund-raiser in my age bracket for the local 'cycle for sight' event about 20 years ago.

I won the heart and affection of my wife over all the dogs at the jail. The best and sometimes worst prize I ever won. When people ask where did you meet, I can truthfully say " We met in Jail". We were at the table talking about the theory that you should give the money back if you win since it was for a good cause. I laughed and said, "It doesn't matter because I have no shot at winning." I won a Christmas tree and my house decorated by WBMW and we had a party...it was fun. I won some 3.00 playing lottery tickets. LOL. I don't gamble so I don't win money. Too afraid to gamble. But, a couple years ago we were having a Christmas party and they had a raffle, and even when you win, you keep your ticket and you have a chance to get your number called again...I won a microwave, hair stuff, an electronic game and a whole bunch of stuff...even a 50.00 gift certificate for Wal-Mart. It was a blast. People were getting mad at me because they just kept picking my number. It was weird..before that I really didn't win much stuff. A few weeks ago at a show my guys were doing they had a raffle and everyone in my band won things, but I didn't and my drummer said if he won the DVD player he would give it to me because I didn't have one, the next item up was the DVD player, hence, I now have a new DVD player! When I used to go to bars, my friends would get a contest going where everybody would put a dollar on the bar, and the first person to guess the answer on "Wheel of Fortune" won the pot (they knew I was good at the game)...I bought many rounds with my winnings from that game! My biggest money win was $500+ on a "Lightning 7s" slot machine in Atlantic City. My biggest sports win was in 1993, when a friend was going to Vegas in April, and I had him put down $20 on the Phillies to win the National League pennant. During the off-season, they were something like 50:1, but they started off hot that year, so by the time he put my money down, they were only 4:1, so I won $100. Enter the poll to see my answer

I was doing my family's laundry at the laundromat and I had a deck of cards with me...I was just playing with the cards by myself while the clothes were in the washer. This sailor started talking to me and asked me if I knew any card games. I said, " I will show you a great game." He said, "Ok." I asked if he had a 1.00 bill. He said the smallest he had was a 20. I said, "Alright, I have a 20." I said, "put it there on the table", and I put my 20 on top of it. Then I laid out 2 jacks, 2 queens, 2 kings, and 2 aces. I said, "Now pick a pair." He picked the Aces. I said, "I pick this pair!" and picked up the two 20s. He laughed and I went to hand him back his 20....he said, "Hell no Honey, you keep it. You earned it. I am still waiting to hit the big lottery prize, but I don't really play very often. Yes, I know you have to play to win, but my dream is to run across someone with the winning ticket who will tell me: "Here you go, I just won this, but I don't need it. Have fun!" Yes, I know it is a very likely dream, but I keep hoping.
