How many are too many?

I was looking at my key ring the other day and realized I had keys on there that I had no idea what they went to. How many keys to you have on your key ring?

Before I moved up here I had 4 and the extra 2 were my best friend's house and my parent's house. i took 'em off because if i should get a wild hair and decide to drop in on them, they will have at least 10 hours notice to let me in. Then one day he needed to get something from a room he didn't have a key for and he asked his boss to let him in. His boss promptly pulled out a key that opened the door he needed to get into as well as all the other doors that led to it. Enter the poll to see my answer

My car is keyless so when I drive it I just carry a fob, I don't need a key to get into my house so no key there, I also drive a BMW motorcycle again when I drive that I only carry the fob. Could you please explain how having a glob of keys inside the car will effect the starter or do you relate the "starter" as being the human turning the key and the effect will be a torn ligament somewhere while trying to drag the monster key ring out of and into the car? #29 \| 63 days ago pawleys_isle (+)	2 keys. Car key & a key to mom and dad's. Garage door opener for in-laws house. Don't need a key for home, most times someone is always here. I also have all the old keys to my dead cars. Total of 5 of those. I was a little wild when I was younger. But those are put up in a box on my dresser.
