10 is about good for a team with no outstanding wideout

we got a cardinal fan sayin they will win 11 ... we got an eagle fan who really believes they will win 11 ... the divisions play each other this fall.... should be fun. Wonder if any Lions fans really think they will win 11?

+1 thumbs upThey play one of the weakest AFC divisions and the weakest NFC division.  I see them sweeping the NFC West and goin 3-1/2-2 (Lose to Cleveland, may lose to Cincy) vs the AFC North. Thats 7-1/6-2, Bears and Falcons make 9-1/8-2... and then I see them splitting with Dallas, New York and Washington. 11-5, possibly 12-4

+1 thumbs upI think that is EXTREME optimism. You assume you beat Seattle and AZ. Assume you can handle Pittsburgh. You didn't look good vs bears last season. I simply don't think Eagles have the talent that you think they do. You guys are a "tweener"... a couple good players, but too many holes to fill to be a true contender. I guess you are going to assume you get a great rookie WR that will step in and be good right away. You assume McNabb and WEstbrook stay healthy. Your prediction is the "best case scenario" and that's being generous. You are making lots of positive assumptions without looking at any potential pit falls... but that's what is great about this time of the year... all our teams are unbeaten!

+1 thumbs upyeah ur right on the split with giants, cowboys, and redskins so thats 3-3, im gonna say that the steelers, browns and an upset with the ravens you'll beat cincy, az, stl and san fran no problem so theres 7-6, loose to seattle, and beat the falcons and you should beat the bears giving u a 9-7 season, 12-4 my a#% you;ll be lucky to even get 10 wins

I'm pretty certain that each of Eagle's Wins, will be won by them .......... but that may jus be wishful thinking on my part ... *shrugs*  LOL

+1 thumbs upI dunno what to think.  McNabb was great the last 5 or 6 games of last year so he's over the ACL injury.  They improved their defense but nothing so far for the O.  They could improve on that as well.  People say "well they don't have very good receivers."  Yeah well I saw them go to four straight NFC Championship games with a star receiver only one of those years and he wasn't in the two playoff games prior to the Super Bowl.  the difference now is the rest of the NFC East is a hell of a lot better than they were then.  The Eagles' own division will give them a lot more problems then the rest of their schedule.  I went with 10 wins but wouldn't be surprised to see 1 game up or down on that.

I think the Eagles got a good enough team to make the playoffs and make a run at the Championship ... maybe the SuperBowl, but it's really going to come down to McNabb to have a very accurate year, and keep the defenses on their heels, so that they don't "have" to "lean" on Westbrook and his theatrics.

I hate the Eagles, but I might root for em a lil bit if those two really run amuck (Westbrook's already a bad... in my book! ..... probly everyones').

I give them 9, which kinda surprises me, and I picked!

If were able to bring in Roy Williams, then we'll get 12 or 13.

Actually, against the Bears last year we WERE good for the first 59 minutes.  If you're talking about the final minute where we collapsed, then yes I'll give you that.  But overall, although we ultimately lost the game, we looked pretty good against the Bears.  But I understand all that matters are wins and losses, so if that's what you mean by not looking good I can accept that.
