IQ Tech Problems ? What Gives................. ??

I have hardly been able to get on the Q the past few days, and I start wondering if it's my Computer or the Website, since I have no problems with other Websites it must be the Q. Do you think the Q should put up announcments such as , This Site is Undergoing Updates And Will Not Be Available, or "The Site is experiencing Technical Difficulties" so that people can know that they will have trouble doing anything on the Q and may wish not to bother or try later ? I know I get tired of watching the Green Bar hardly moving and eventually just give up, but I think it would be noce to get updates from the IP that there will be problems for a certain amount of time so we know.

#3 \| 104 days ago maroon&gold4eve (+)	+17 We all are having these problems.Everything from entering polls and not recieving credit to having to score the same polls over and over.I talked to Jess last night and she said technicians were working as hard as they could to get the problems corrected.I guess it just takes a little patience on our part,as hard as it may be for those of us addicted to theQ.

I try very hard to make myself not get mad, but it's not always easy. I do wonder if the continued use of the site while the issues are being addressed makes it harder for them. So I guess what I'm saying is "Would you like us to leave you alone for a while?" Yes they should keep us more informed

So I guess what I'm saying is "Would you like us to leave you alone for a while?" +11 They can shut the Q down, they have before, Jess is the only one to respond and here is what she told me: "Sorry guys - I wasn't addressing this for 2 reasons. 1) You're right...I haven't been able to get on the site much at all today, and 2) I don't have much in the way of answers. I'll post what I posted in another league though: Here's what I know; 1. The problem is stemming from database replication issues. 2. It has nothing to do with adding new stuff, and we have different people who fix things and develop things. 3. It does have something to do with the growth of the site and the massive traffic we're getting; which this rate was unexpected. 4. The techs are working their tails off 'round the clock to stabilize the database Here's what I don't know; 1. What database replication means "... Yes they should keep us more informed

I am just thankful to have them here - whatever they decide to works for me. I sure don't want to make life more difficult than it already is for the people who keep this up and running! Don't care

The Olympics have brought in a ton of new members, and the site is just not used to the increased usage quite yet. The techs are working on it, and we're trying to "grow" the site as quickly as possible, but we've been getting more hits in single days this week than we had been getting in entire months, or for the entire first YEAR of the site. Be patient, and it will start working again soon. The one thing that I know is that the next time there's a major event like this, we'll be more prepared for the increase in members and web traffic. Give it a chance, and everything will get worked out as soon as possible. Yes, but it is not necesary to make announcments

Or going to bolt, if someone doesn't stop criticizing this person. Why these itens are always featured. . Then the site gets down for about a day and a half. And we look for a messiah to save us. Maybe it's a good site after all Yes they should keep us more informed

Wish they would keep us informed so we don't think it is our internet or computer..... Although this is a real good site and I like going on here but half the time I can not do the quiz because it takes like fifteen minutes to load...... Yes they should keep us more informed
