+4 thumbs upI think the league should institute something in regards to retirement, like um I dont know, if they formally retire like Favre did, they should have to sit atleast 2 years before coming back to the league............

(I'll say it again here)

I'll start this here, right now ->     If Favre REALLY wants to get back at the Packer organization for not wanting him back.....then he should go to Chicago !!!

+2 thumbs upOld, yes
As good as ever, no
but still he is FARVE better than 60-80% of Quaterbacks today!
lol
Go Farve, play till your 40, Mississippi boy cant quit, hell nothing else to do!

He would be asking for trouble if he goes to another team though, gonna be hard to make it as "FUN" as it has been in GB for so long for him.

+1 thumbs upIt was written in the Fort Worth Star Telegram today that Favre has possible interest in playing for Carolina. What ties does he have there or why in the world would he want to commit end of career suicide like that?

In regards to the paperwork, I know that. But when an athlete goes before the Media, Press, and the Country, I myself consider than a FORMAL retirement. All these guys now days do this and then say oh wait, nevermind. Come on now, grow some balls and live with the decision or stick out a mandated wait....... Seems like the choice to me
