Kyle Busch fails inspection. Should the penalty be the same as Brian Vickers' penalty?

If we weren't already sick of all these COT penalties, there are more. Vickers, Sauter, and Kyle Busch's cars were found too low this weekend. Vickers' was too low after qualifying while Sauter and Busch's cars were too low following the race on Sunday at Loudon. To me, both situations seem to be the same infraction. Brian Vickers was not allowed to race on Sunday.

#3 \| 520 days ago detroitduke (+)	The reason why Vickers didn't get to run in the race is that his qualifying for Loudon was disallowed and because he's out of the top 35 in owner-driver points he was SOL for NHIS. If Sauter and Ky. Busch had been caught before the race, they would still have been able to race since they're in the top 35 but they would have been forced to the back of the field to start the race. No

Maybe so, but Gordon and Johnson were in that boat at Sonoma. They got caught in opening day inspection there and had to start at the end of the grid. Both also got penalized points, money, and having their crew chiefs suspended. However, I understand Vickers getting the boot, but he also should be penalized in the same way as those in the top 35 on Tuesday. If you do it to one team, do it to all regardless of points position. No
